3rd International Symposium for Japanese Kampo Medicine

1. Preliminary Program:

Highlights of Japanese Kampo Medicine:
Traditional Knowledge, Modern Research and Clinical Practice

Session A: Historical and Anthropological Aspects of Kampo Medicine
Session B: Evidence from Pharmacological Research
Poster Session
Session C: Results of Clinical Research and its Methodology
Session D: International Aspects of Kampo Medicine

This one day symposium will highlight advances in all major aspects of Japanese Kampo Medicine. Join us to learn more about traditional knowledge and new evidence from research and clinical practice. Leading experts from Japan and the West in this field will be happy to discuss and to share their clinical experience. The symposium language is English.

2. Call for Papers:

Abstract Submission is now open!
We are now calling for papers! We are looking forward to receive abstracts in all aspects of Kampo Medicine indicated in the program. Please send in a one-page word document in the usual abstract format (400 words) together with a short CV of max. 5 lines at the bottom of the abstract page by email at: mail@isjkm.com
Please indicate clearly whether you prefer poster or oral presentation. Due to the limited time slots, oral presentation cannot be guaranteed.

The Deadline for Abstract Submission is January 31, 2015

3. Evening Event:

In the evening, the symposium will be followed by a Networking Dinner Event at a famous winery with music (Heurigen). There will be a bus transfer to the winery in the outskirts of Vienna. The Networking event is kindly co-sponsored by the major of the city of Vienna.

4. Registration:

For participants the Symposium fee is 150 Euro and includes full catering (lunch, two coffee breaks), bus transfer and dinner event. In case of accompanying persons there is the option to join in only for the bus transfer and the dinner event for a separate fee of 50 Euro.
